Personal History

My name is Madeline Camp and I'm 10 years old. I started riding in March 2013 and my first bike was a KLX 110. In August 2013, my dad bought me a KX 65 and I have competed in one race since then. I am in 5th grade at Liberty Elementary in Canton, GA.  I also do competition cheer and gymnastics. My little sister, Katie, also races and has a KX 65. My dad takes us to practice at Highland Park, Durhamtown, Scrubndirt, Calhoun, and Monster Mountain in Alabama.

Riding Goals

My goal is to become better at cornering and going fast. I 'm a little scared of keeping my 65 in the powerband almost all of the time but I am getting better. I want to race in several events in 2014 and stay safe.

Competitive Highlights

In my first race at Calhoun this past summer, I finished 2nd to my sister. It was really fun. In November, I had my first race on my 65 and finished 5th. Some of the kids were really fast and my goal is to be able to keep up with them. I will be racing a winter series at Pro Edge Calhoun/Chattanooga as well as monthly races at Scrubndirt in Monroe, GA.
