Personal History
My name is Maddox Welborn. I am currently 9 years old. I started riding a strider bicycle at 9 months old. I would ride anywhere from 1-2 miles with my parents on mountain bike trails. At the age of 2, I got my first motorcycle (DRZ-70). I raced in my first harescramble race at 2 1/2 years old in a diaper. At a very young age I fell in love with motorcycles and racing. I have been racing every since then. I am currently tied in points in the 8-9 50CC class. I also have a 65 and 85, the 85 is by far my favorite to ride. I enjoy BMX, MX, and harescramble racing. Not only do I race motorcycles but I also race fourwheelers. I raced a 50 in the 4-6 year old class and won three years in a row (age 4, age 5, and age 6). I raced a 90 at the age of 7 and won that championship as well. I am still on a 90 but I moved up in age class. I wanted more competion and I wanted to be challenged so I moved up to compete with older and more skilled racers. At age 8 I competed with older kids (10-12 years old). I never won an overall race but I usually finished top 10. This year at age 9 I am finishing top 3 every weekend. I have yet to win an overall but remember I am racing kids that are 1-3 years older than me. I also race a 125 and I do pretty decent considering how little I am on that quad. I went to Action Off Road Camp this year and I have learned so much. I cannot wait to go back next summer! My life revolves around racing. My parents, sister, and grandparents are very supportive and involved in my racing career. I enjoy going to my cousins Krues house and riding with him as his dad, Kailub trains many of the GNCC pros. My dream is to become a PRO racer one day. Quads are fun for me but dirtbikes are serious business. I would be over the moon if I made it PRO in either dirt bikes or fourwheelers.

Riding Goals
My riding goals for the 2023 is to finish my race season strong and to be consistent. I plan on winning the 8-9 championship on my dirt bike. I also plan on finishing top 3 in my quad class. As always I just want to ride and have fun. I want to learn and grow and hopefully develop this into a full time career.
