Personal History
Coming from an environment of motorcycle enthusiasts, mechanics, and racers, it is not a question why Luke owns and operates a motorcycle school, race team, and races in multiple racing associations. Luke's passion for motorcycles started before he was just 2 years old. His journey riding motorcycles began at 3 years old on a PW-50. By the time he was 6, he had multiple motorcycle magazine pages taped to his wall and several flat-track races under his belt. Luke raced flat track and motocross locally throughout his childhood and teens. He also split his time trail riding, watching motorcycle racing, boating, fishing, ice fishing, skiing, hunting, and camping. Even in the off-season, Luke was always close to motorcycles as Lukes's father was the head technician and one of the founders of Rocky Mountain Kawasaki, a Motorcycle Dealership in Longmont, CO.
Luke's curiosity allowed him to learn how to work on various styles of motorcycles from an early age through personal bike maintenance and day-to-day motorcycle shop operations. Luke put his knowledge to work as a technician at Rocky Mountain Kawasaki for part of his high school time and throughout his college career. During that time, Luke continued to race flat track and motocross and started riding street bikes on the street and at tracks. After college, Luke received the opportunity to work for Ricky Orlando Motorcycle School as a motorcycle rider coach at IMI Motorsports Complex.
Ricky mentored Luke for a few years, teaching him the nuances of teaching riders how to ride on the street, dirt, trails, and tracks. Luke's enthusiasm and love for riding allowed him to quickly develop into a trusted rider coach with a track record of satisfied riders who continually wanted his expertise. Luke then received the opportunity to buy Ricky Orlando Motorcycle School and is now the owner of Chain Reaction Motorcycle School and is in his second year of business.
With over 2 decades of motorcycle experience, he has developed detailed skills and knowledge of numerous aspects of motorcycle riding and racing disciplines. Luke's positive drive, passion, and love for motorcycles are why he owns his motorcycle school and race team, Chain Reaction Motorcycle School/Race Team. Luke is a diverse and unique racer that wants to give to the motorcycle community just like it has throughout his riding career. Luke is one of those riders that has a hard time sticking to only one set of wheels. He races Flat Track and Motocross and has ambitions to race supermotos and sportbikes while also enjoying trail riding, street riding, and track days. His never ending passion for motorcycles allows him to teach over 400 new and existing motorcyclists each year how to ride on the street, in the dirt, on the trails, and on the track. This is only the beginning for Luke as he plans to expand his legacy in the coming years to impact more riders/racers and give them what they want and need.

Riding Goals
Why do I race motorcycles??
There is nothing like the thrill of pushing the limits of a motorcycle and yourself. It's a continuous exercise mentally and physically that allows you to totally focus.
