Personal History

Hello! My name is Luke Matz. I have been riding a dirt bike since I was 4 years old. My dad bought my first bike which was a crf 50 and I have been in love with riding ever since. After many years of riding and learning I started racing in 2020 and quickly decided to run the whole series in 2021. My 2021 season ended in August when I tore my right ACL and meniscus. I had the surgery to repair in September 2021 and was unable to begin racing again until June 2022. I had a few strong races after just returning and I plan on doing even better in the 2023 season with a new bike. My hobbies include playing football. I am a running back and I also play strong safety. I enjoy archery hunting with my grandfather and I also ride mountain bikes with my dad. Currently I am a junior in high school and I attend Vo-tech. I am in the masonry program and my plan is to join the Bricklayer’s Union upon graduation and of course continue to ride dirt bikes! A lot of my free time is spent with my dad in our garage wrenching and learning how to repair and perform the upkeep on my bike.
