Personal History

My name is Luke Allen. I was born in Albuquerque,NM and raised in the surrounding areas( Edgewood). My parents got me started racing at the age of 4 in the local series known as NMDRC, which is now known as Gasitoffroad and owned by a long time friend Paul Luce. My sister Skye is 22 months older than me and we always battled it out at every race. The races were really only between me and my sis because we blew the competition out of the water. As I got older I started beating her and eventually moved up the ladder to higher classes. At the age of 18 I was racing the Webe series and placed top 7 as my best and consistently at about 10-15th overall in the pro class. I was racing the National Hare and Hound espanola event when I tore my ACL,MCL and meniscus and was out for the season. I never stopped training on my home mx/enduro track on my parents 40 acre track. I am currently in college working towards an acting major while trying to work the summers doing wild land firefighting to sustain racing.

Riding Goals

I believe that if I had the resources to hit every race that I could make it to the national hare and hound and even the GNCC and do very well. I've been racing since I was 4 years old and I believe I have a lot of potential to unlock if I had the resources to go to as many races as possible. In the national hare and hound event in espanola, NM I was racing the Open A class and I was in the lead until I tweaked my leg and was DNF. I bought a 30 ft bike hauler that I live in out at my dads house which enables me to ride our track whenever I get the chance. With riding every weekend and during the week( which I can do because I don't have a job except during the summer) for the past year, my riding skills have increased greatly from the knee incident and I believe that having the knee injury was a good thing because I used to be careless and ride over my head, but now I am starting to learn consistency and being fast at the same time.
