Personal History
Hello my name is Luke Lyons. I am 15 years old and I am from Tipp City Ohio. I have ridden dirtibkes since I was 3 but I just started racing within the last year. I ride a 2021 Crf 150rb and race in the OXCR series which stands for Ohio Cross Country Racing. I race the supermini class and I am pretty competitive in it. I got into races through my grandpa and my dad they both used to race when they were younger. Riding and racing is all I think about and it’s where my heart is. I only race gncc type hare scrambles currently but I am looking to start racing track also.
Riding Goals
I am planning on moving to big bikes in the next one to two years. I plan to keep progressing and practice with the goal on becoming a local pro. I believe I have the hard work and dedication it takes to reach this goal. I know if I work hard don’t give up and stay focused on racing I can achieve this goal with the support of family and others.
Competitive Highlights
I compete in the supermini class in the OXCR series which stands for Ohio Cross Country Racing. I am competitive in the supermini class which is know to be one of the most competitive classes there is in racing before you step up to big bikes. I have took second place in 5+ OXCR event races and multiple 3rd places in the same series. This year in July I raced the Cyco Motorsports youth day race and won all 3 events and took first overall. The events consisted of a hare scramble, an obstacle course, and a motocross race. I do not have many competitive highlights as this is only my first years racing.
