Personal History
I live in Fairbanks Alaska and started racing motocross in the 2009 season. Prior to my very first race In 2009 I crashed hard and broke my left foot in five places, I waited six weeks and rode half the season finishing 2nd overall in Supermini. I have a real passion for racing and enjoy the competitive nature of the sport. I have a level head on my shoulders and listen to feedback from everyone so I can improve my skills. For the 2010 Season I stepped upto a 2 stroke 125. At the second state race I was passing a rider for the lead and over shot a jump by 20 feet. I crashed hard and broke my right foot in 5 places. This time I didn't want to sit out for six weeks so after one week I cut the cast off and raced. I learned my lesson about the power band on 2 -strokes. I raced most of the 2010 season with a broken foot and wearing one of my dads boots over my splinted broken foot, I still finished 2nd overall in the 250B class. I can only imagine how well I'll do in 2011 if I can stay healthy. I've learned a lot in my 2 seasons of racing and hope to make it to nationals in 2011. Even though here in Alaska the ground is covered in snow most of the year my focus is on training and riding.
Riding Goals
For 2011 I plan on racing 250A class for our local city series and for the state championship series I will compete in 250B. I am very focused and will put in the time and effort to race at the highest level within my capabilities. My #1 goal is to complete the season healthy and compete in all local and state series races.
Competitive Highlights
My competitive highlights can be seen on my race results page. I have many 1st place finishes in 250B this year and all of them came while riding with a broken foot. I have been racing for 2 years and finished both seasons 2nd overall in each respective class.
