Personal History
I started riding on a PW50 when I was 4 years old. As I grew, I saved my Christmas and birthday monies to purchase a series of upgrades -- a Honda CRF70, Yamaha TTR125, Honda TRX400EX quad, Suzuki RMZ450, a 2016 KTM 350 XC-F, and then a series of KTMs. My riding was primarily on the hundreds of acres of farm lands and anthracite coal fields of PA.
Although I had wanted to race for a few years, my 450 kept me from entering the racing field until I reached the age of 16. I decided to compete in hare scrambles when I was old enough, and after two very unsuccessful races realized the 450 was not an appropriate bike for what I wanted to do.
Now at age 25, on a 2023 KTM 300 XC, this is my 10th year competing - mostly in Hare Scrambles, Enduros and now GPs. While still in B class in 2019, I won B Open Championship in ECEA and AMA District 6, and rode to a fourth place finish in the AMA East Hare Scramble Series.
My first few years in A class were mixed with college, finding a job to support my racing passion and then COVID. Now, gainfully employed as a CAD Machinery Designer for Air Products in Allentown, PA, I have come back with a vengeance in 2023, winning several of my races this year and Overall A at the first TOR GP event.
Riding Goals
I ride because I love the sport; I love to race; enjoy working on my bikes and I love the camaraderie of riding and practicing with my racing competition in our time off.
My plans for 2024 include the new TOR GP series, some NEPGs, ECEA and local District 6 races for practice. I know I have the skill to compete at the top level. This off season I will find a trainer so my fitness can better support my skill for the longer hare scramble races.
