Personal History

My name is Lucas Yerington and I’m 10 years old. I started riding dirt bikes when I was 6 and when I was 7 I started competing. Motocross is my life it’s all I want to do. When I started competing I was on a Cobra Jr, it was a great bike but I just couldn’t perform well on it so I got a KTM senior 50cc and things started clicking for me. My second year racing I placed 5th overall in District 22. 2017 I got my first 65cc while racing the 50cc class. That year I took 1st in the 50cc class and 4th in the 65cc class. 2018 started out great but couple months into it I made a mistake while practicing and dislocated my shoulder which put me out for 4 months. Once I was cleared to ride again it was slow start to get my confidence built back up. Looking to start 2019 season.

Riding Goals

My goals this year are to work corners. I want to get faster in the corners. I want to improve my lap times and build more confidence to do better on and off the track. My dream is to some day go pro and race supercross.

Competitive Highlights

My highlights are 2016 5th place 50cc District 22, 2017 1st place 50cc district 22, 4th place 65cc district 22. 2019 got second in 65-85 beginner in Texas and was my 2nd time racing my 85!
