Personal History
My Name is Lucas Epperson and I live in London, KY. I am a freshman at South Laurel High and have a 4.0 GPA. I began riding dirt bikes at 3yrs old. I had a CRF50 that I mainly rode fields and horse paths on our family farm. My older brother had a kx85 and when I was 10yrs old it was handed down to me. I took it to local MX tracks and did some woods riding by this time I was 10yrs old. In the fall of 2020 my family and I decided to do our first KXCR event. Covid had restricted or closed almost all entertainment venues but in KY out door activity was still a go. I was able to pick up a 2021 kx85 and a klx110. The first race was a complete learning curve. I wasn't a racer I was a kid out of his element. The bike wouldn't start, mud everywhere, and long slick hill climbs, all made for a total tail kicker. I finished dead last. But, I wasn't discouraged rather I was encouraged. Since then I have tried to improve my skills every time I get on bike.
Riding Goals
My goal is to improve every time I sit on a dirt bike. I want to podium finish very event I enter for 2023 and beyond. I want to pick up sponsors who can help me achieve my goals and also help them get their brand out into the spot light in grass roots venues. I want a supermini championship and to defend the Pit Bike championship I have now. I want 2023 to be a great year for racing.
