Rider Updates

Dec 13 2022

The last three weeks have been full of racing. I started in Mesquite for the Thanksgiving Classic. I ended up Overall 7th in Schoolboy 1, 7th in 450C and 8th in 125 B/C. From Mesquite we drove to Pheonix where we hung out a couple days and relaxed before heading to AZ Open in Buckeye. The first day of racing was interesting. My first two motos were Open C and 125 C. I rode hard in my 125 B/C and was running 6th or 7th when I landed the big uphill triple and my front wheel caught a rut. Took a gnarly right hook from my bars and almost came off my bike. My mom took me to the ER for sutures and a jaw xray. The doctor glued my chin up and sent me back to the track with an all clear to ride. The rain started the next morning and I had some wild muddy motos. I decided to just race the 2 classes instead of the B/C class I got the DNF in. I had a great 3rd place Open C moto, but the caught the gate in my 125 C class in my last moto. So I ended up being Overall 6th in Open C and 7th in 125 C. We made it home Monday night and by Friday afternoon we were practicing at my local track, KCRP, for Swap Moto. I went Overall 1, 2, 3 on the main track and went Overall 4th in 250 Open on the Arenacross. I was the first C rider in my Arenacross class and had so much fun on that track. Looking forward to being there for Cal State Shootout for New Years! Thank you to all of my sponsors EMT Racing/Pinnacle Racing for keeping these rad GasGas 125s running smooth.

This weekend I'll be headed out to my local track, KCRP Bakersfield, for a race on Sunday. I just picked up my practice bike that got rebuilt, and dropped off my new race Gas Gas 125 to my mechanic Travis at Pinnacle Racing. He's going to work his magic and make me a killer race bike. I just joined his team and am stoked that he has chosen me to be part of it. I'm working hard every morning in the gym at 6am and hitting my practice track in the evenings that I can't make it to the local track. When it gets dark out, I jump on my new Matrix stationary bike and get about a 45 minute workout in before dinner. I am looking forward to ordering my Ryno Power supps to keep me going through my hard workouts and moto days. I'm also excited to order a new gear bag from another new sponsor, Ogio. I am grateful for everyone who is helping me on this exciting journey. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving MX and AZ Open at the end of the month!! See you at the track!
