Personal History
My name is Logan VanKirk and I live with my parents in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. I'm the oldest of three kids. I have a younger sister and a younger brother. I enjoy of course riding my dirt bike, pedal bike and skateboard. I love swimming in the summer with my friends. I also love to play video games. This (2012) was my first year of racing. I get good grades in school (A's & B's) and that is a great motivator for me to keep racing. Bad grades = no racing. I want to market your products!
Riding Goals
2012 was my very first year racing at 13 yrs old. I raced 125 JR in AMA District 16, which is a very hard and fast class. My goal this year without any training was to take as many pointers from others and to gain more confidence on the track without getting hurt.
For 2013, I plan to stay in shape over the winter months and to keep watching video on mx racing. In the spring when I can ride, I plan to work on the basics and everything I've learned this year. My main goal is to get faster and try to stay up front every race I enter.
Competitive Highlights
I started out in May falling down a lot and uneasy about hitting jumps, especially doubles. By September 2012 I was running mid pack and sometimes higher while hitting every jump on the tracks. I was so excited to get my first podium and to also start getting trophies for my finishes.
2013 4th place finish in Moto 2 at Valley Raceway!
