Personal History

Hello. My name is Logan Shiffler. I have been riding a dirtbike scince i was 4 years old. Riding a dirt bike for me isnt just a fun activity. Its an escape. I just cant get enough of just hanging it out there on the track. The feeling of turning a bike sideways in the air is unmatched, it is like you are cheating death and yet totally in the zone at the same time. I think of motocross as a sport in which I can have fun, meet new people, and maybe show off a little ;). But I have never really competitively raced until about a year ago when i get my crf250r. I made the huge jump from a 150f to a 250r. I had been used to riding my brothers cr250 that i now use for a "back up bike" so i did have some experience handling power. When i got my 250 unfortanutly, i bought it used and the motor blew. Cost me 1800 to fix but that got me settled at a shop that now i am pretty much an everyday customer and get some amazing discounts. After the thing was in the shop for 3 months, a friend of mine had recently made a switch from a 150f to a 250r. Same year for both bikes and everything. He told me about this amazing place called Tomahawk Mx park in Hedgesville West Virginia. Only about a 30 minute drive from my house. I looked it up on the internet and saw some photos. I was hooked. I had never been to a real track. Just doing fast laps around my field with 2 foot tall hand made dirt jumps. So i begged my parents to let me go, and we did just that. The day I rode my first lap at tomahawk was the day Motocross became a part of me. It was pretty intimadating at first, but once i got settled, the throttle was held wide open the whole time. I went back a bunch more times but then my buddy i talked about a little eairlier went with me. We loaded our bikes and headed off. It rained that day pretty good but around closing time it dried out and was perfect. My friend Andrew and I tore that track apart. We were so evenly matched that we did not get 10 feet from each other for about 10 laps. We were on top of the world me and him. And alomost everytime I go back I go with Andrew. He is fun to ride with and we push each other to get better. I hope to practice as much as i can for when i reenter this season in the winter. And if u want someone to diplay your sponsors proundly and with character and interity, I am your guy.....

Riding Goals

I hope to place first in at least one race. I have done ok in the past but i have been working really hard and I think i should win a few this year.
