Personal History
I am Logan (Lowg Dawg) Rabenberg. I live in the small town of Drain, OR which is only about 10 miles from where Josh Hill grew up. I figure if this area is good enough for Josh then I'm lucky to live here. I have loved motorcycles since before I could talk. One of my first words was nun-nun which was my word for motorcycle, I guess that's what they sounded like to me. I got an XR50 for Christmas when I was 4 and have been riding ever since. I have been wanting to race for years but it is so expensive and I haven't had a bike that would compete until now. I had to promise my dad I would roll the jumps because my rear shock is toast and when I hit a jump hard my bike goes all hairball. I am so excited that I got my first race behind me and my Dad is gonna take me to most Saturdays and Sundays an Albany MX and some Thursday nites at Thursday Nite Motocross at Portland International Speedway in Portland and me and my Dad are gonna do a hare scramble next month. Every sponsorship I can get will free up more money so my Dad can take me to more races and maybe get me a faster bike. I ride almost every day and sometimes think I would sleep on my bike if my Mom and Dad would let me
Riding Goals
I would like to race every week except for a couple weeks. I may not win a race or a season championship this year on my bike but I am gonna give it my all in every moto. My goals are to finish every race, improve my times every week, get lots of experience, make some friends, learn a lot, win some trophies and have at least 5 top 3 finishes. I want to start down the road that leads to Supercross.
Competitive Highlights
On Sunday, May 4 I rode my first race. I finished 10th in the 1st moto and 9th in the 2nd moto with a final place of 9th. I was happy because there were 22 racers in my moto and 15 in my class. I had never riden this track before so I did go down a couple times. My Dad said he was proud especially since I had to roll the jumps instead of jumping them because my rear shock is blown and is like a trampoline.
On Saturday May 17th I rode in my third race. I finished 3rd in the 1st moto and 2nd in the 2nd moto and ended up in 2nd place overall. It was so awesome to earn my first podium finish.
