Personal History

My name is Logan Mower, and I’m an 11-year-old motocross racer from Cedar City, Utah. I started riding dirt bikes when I was five, after my dad and I got our first bikes together. We spent every weekend on the trails, which led me to discover motocross through YouTube videos of legends like Carmichael and Stewart. Their speed and skill inspired me, and by the time I was seven, I knew I wanted to race.

I entered my first motocross race at the 2019 RMX Summer Series in St. George, Utah. It was a muddy challenge, but I was hooked despite the chaos. My hard work that year paid off when I won the RMX Idaho State Championship and claimed my first AMA #1 plate in the 50cc Beginner 7-8 division. That victory, with my plate signed by pro Garrett Marchbanks, fueled my drive to keep pushing through the crashes and injuries that come with the sport.

By 2022, everything clicked. I dominated the RMX Summer Series, winning five classes and being named the RMX Series Rider of the Year. But the highlight of my journey so far has been earning a ticket to compete at the prestigious Loretta Lynn’s in Tennessee, where only the top riders in the country race.

Motocross is tough, but I love the thrill, the competition, and the challenge of pushing myself to be the best. Even with setbacks like concussions and broken bones, I’m determined to keep racing and chasing my dreams.
