Personal History
I am 15 years old.
I am a sophomore at Clovis West High School.
I play competitive Club soccer for Clovis Crossfire. I have been playing competitive soccer for 8 years.
I have been riding since I was 5 years old. I started on a Yamaha 50.
I started racing about 2 years ago on an 85 cc. in Madera, California at Little Okie. I raced a few series with solid finishes and decided to move up to a 250. I then trained with Rusty Holland for quite a few months before he decided I was ready to compete. I then returned to Madera and again was able to show some pretty decent finishes.
Riding Goals
I want to improve my technique and fitness. I want to learn to get better and faster. I train with Rusty 4-5 times a month and it definitely helps to have someone who can teach you to corner, brake and how to attack the track. His expertise and support has helped me grow as a rider and I look forward to my continued growth and progress with his direction.
I continue to race at Madera and also train and DT1 in Tulare, California. I have also traveled to Porterville for a few sessions on their track.
Competitive Highlights
My first race was at Little Okie on my 85 and I finished with 3rd overall. The next season I competed again on the 85 and finished again with a 3rd overall. I then moved up to the 250 class and finished 3rd overall. I then decided I wanted to race a larger race and attended the Vurb Classic in Oatfield, California. I finished with a 2nd overall in my class which was very exciting for me. I then sent on the Dodge Nationals in Rancho Cordova and finished with a 3rd overall there as well.
I now want to travel California and race as many races as I can and get those podium finishes. This is hopefully just the beginning for me. This sport continues to grow and I can only see it as the beginning for me and what it has to offer.
