Personal History

My name is Lisa, I am 20 years old. The first time I got on a dirtbike was four years ago at Motopark in Chatsworth, Ontario. I attended a camp for one week, and they taught me the basics of riding. I achieved the best overall girl rider of the week, and I decided after that I should buy a bike and begin racing. I started out on a brand new 2004 yz85, and rode that for about three years. This past year, I picked up a used 2005 yz125 and started racing it. I raced the fall series for eight weeks at CMX in the ladies division, and novice 125 B. In the ladies division, I achieved 3'rd place overall. I was hoping to do better, but switching from a yz85 to a yz125 was a big step for me. In May 2009 I purchased a brand new 2009 yz250f, this was a lot different for me but I adjusted fast. My races weren't very consistent due to injury, and after walton trans can I have been out with a concussion. This winter im practicing in florida and when im home going to put some time in at the indoor tracks. My goal this year is to be in the top, and to get noticed and meet more people. I will be qualifying again for loretta lynns, and my friend Danielle Russell (former WMA pro) will be helping me again with my rider skill, and to further my ability. I am hoping to be top 10 or better at 2010 walton trans can.
