Personal History
I am a 14 year old 9th grader for Livermore. I started riding at a very young age. My dad taught me how to ride and how to work on bikes too. When we are not riding, we spend a ton of time in the shop, we do all of our own maintenance and motor work. My parents, sister and I live on a ranch in Livermore. I feel very lucky that we have room for me to ride, room for a mini bike track, some hill climbs, and obstacles too.
My other hobbies are hunting, fishing, wrestling, and water sports. Our family also raises animals. We enjoy camping at our local OHV parks when ever we can. We live near Carnegie Cycle Park, Frank Raines, and a private motor cycle club.
I just started racing this year during the fall series. My first race was the Donner Hare Scramble. I raced my 250 two stroke and I then knew for sure that I wanted to race. My dad and I found a KTM sx105, bought it, and I raced it the next weekend. I have been racing the Youth Big Wheel and the 98-200cc class on the 105. I am currently saving my money to buy a bigger bike for the 98-200cc class.
Riding Goals
I ride because of the time spent with family and friends, in the shop and on the trail. The people I meet and the places I go.
This year my goal is to go to as many of the Hare Scrambles and Enduros as I can. I want to get enough points to be bumped to the next class. It would also be great to go to some camps and trainings to work on technique, skill, and speed.
Next year I hope to be racing the class up and be on a bigger bike for the 98-200cc class. We want to go to all the Hare Scrambles, as many Enduros as we can get in, and I would love to try an AMA West Series race too. I will be looking to attend some more camps and clinics and maybe work with a trainer too.
Competitive Highlights
My first race was Donner Hare Scramble. I placed 8th on my 250 two stroke.
I have been placing in the top 5 in the Youth Big Wheel on my KTM sx105.
Placing in the top 7 in the 98-200cc on my Husqvarna tc105.
Placed 3rd in the wilsyville sprint Enduro on my Husqvarna tc105
The last Enduro I went to was a 100 mile race called Steam Donkey. Unfortunately I got a flat at the third check. After fixing my own flat on the trail I timed out by 20 seconds. I did not know that I timed out and I finished the race. They still marked my card so we were able to see where I would have finished after we added my time, which was 3rd place.
