Personal History
I have been riding motorcycles my entire life. I started racing Motocross and Supercross in Colorado at the age of nineteen in the SRAC racing sanction. I competed for several years in the 250/450 C or novice class. I eventually earned amateur or B class status. I am married and have two children ages 5 and 12 both ride but my son is showing the same passion I have for dirt bikes. I work as a traffic signal Technician for the City of Colorado Springs in Colorado springs Colorado.
Riding Goals
After ten years or so of not racing I have rededicated myself and in the last year I have lost 100lbs. My goal is to be as good an example as I can for my family and friends. I would like to show people that at 36 I can still meet my goals. First to be competitive in the Vet B/Amateur class and second to earn pro status and be competitive in that class as well. The ultimate would be earning a trip to Lorettas.
Competitive Highlights
Winning my first Motocross overall with a 2-1 beating second in moto 2 by nearly 20 seconds.
Racing my first "Night Show" in my local Supercross series
Racing for the first time (after 10 years) in front of my kids and finishing top 5 in the vet B class
Update 2021, After a few tough years with COVID restrictions, injury, and financial hardship, I was able to finish top 3 in my first vet pro race. Though I wasn't able to race as much as would have liked my dream of racing as a Pro (even if it is old guy pro) was met in 2021. I will keep hammering and looking forward to the up coming season.
