Personal History
Being a 3rd generation Motorcyclist, I started riding at the age of 5. My father owned and operated a motorcycle dealership which helped support my racing career. My 1st race was a Hillclimb in 1969. From then, I raced various types of events, including Motocross, Harescramble, Flattrack, Enduro and, of course, Hillclimb. 45 years later I'm still racing select Motocross, Cross Country and Hillclimb events, Promoting local and National events through Pioneer Motorcycle Club and enjoy riding / racing more than ever! Riding Goals
Racing plans / goals for 2015 - Race 50+ class in select WEXCR cross country series, Grand Prix and MX events, AMA/District 11 & West Virginia Hillclimb series and earn the 50+ National Champion title in the 2015 AMA Hillclimb Grand Championships at (TBD) in August 2015. Promote local Hillclimb and cross country events with Pioneer Motorcycle Club.
Competitive Highlights
1982 - 1st Place 250B Class WV State Motocross Championship. 1st Place 250B Class Ohio State Motocross Championship. 2nd Place 250B Class Loretta Lynn's AMA/Kawasaki National Motocross Championship.
1983 - 1st Place Open A Class Ohio State Motocross Championship. 2nd Place Open A Class WV State Motocross Championship.
1984 - Started riding Local and National level Enduro events Open B. 5-1st place, 2-2nd place, 1-4th place finish Local Enduro 1-1st place, 2-3rd place, 1-5th place finish National Enduro
1985 - Advanced to "A" Enduro, raced Open A in Local & National events 4-1st place, 1-2nd place, 1-3rd place finish Local Enduro 1-1st place, 2-3rd place, 1-4th place finish National Enduro 16th Over All Intent Class ISDE Qualifier Silver Medal, 127th Overall, 19th Overall American, 38th Overall 500cc class during 60th ISDE in La Cerdanya, Spain;
