Personal History

I am a 25 year old motocrosser who has been racing for 20 years now. I started riding when I was 4 years old and began racing flat track shortly after that. I raced around in circles till I was 9 and then started focusing more on motocross. Even though I hadn't been racing motocross, I had a MX track in my back yard, and it didn't take long to start putting in good results. By the time I was 13 I started racing a 125. In just four short years I had gone from a "C" rider to an "A" rider. Things really started going good in 2002 at the age of 19. I was running up front every weekend. (against AMA National qualifying riders much of the time.)

I have always had problems with injuries, but in 2003 I suffered a big one. (broken back and shoulder) This injury put me out for 2 years. In late 2005 I came back to race a double header arenacross. Riding in the intermediate class due to my time off, I managed to win both nights and lap nearly half the field. This was short lived as I managed to break my wrist a month later. I was out for the whole 2006 season and it took two surgeries to get me back in the game. But now, I am 100% healthy and I made it through all of 2007 without any broken bones. I feel that I have matured greatly as a rider the last couple years, and I am much more focused as well. I just need to get my speed back and I will be back up front again.

Lately there is rarely a day when I am not either riding my dirt bike or training for the upcoming season. Maturity, health, focus, love for riding, and hopefully some more sponsorship help, will get me back to where I was and beyond.
