Personal History

Currently, I work for a local welding certification school helping students obtain their industry weld certification.  When I am not riding or racing, I enjoy hunting, fishing, working out and most of all family.  My friends often tell me that I am calm and collective yet determined to reach achievable goals in Motocross and my career. I really love to work with beginners and those who really want to win in MX.  Starting as a beginner in 2019, I began my race competitions with the EMX Series. In April 2021, I won the overall championship in the 2020 Main Event Series. In April 2021, I was involved in a MX accident inflicting injury on both ankles and my wrist. I was out for 8 months recovering physically and working on the metal aspect of this sport and my goals. In 2022, it took me some time to get back into groove also recovering from a fractured scapula. I finished up the 2022 EMX and Main Event Championship series 3rd overall in the 250 Novice class and 2nd in the Collegeboy 17-24 Open. I did compete in the Loretta Lynn's Area Qualifier in Conroe, TX to gain as much experience towards my goal to qualify and compete in the 2024 Loretta Lynn's Armature Nationals. The biggest highlight of my 2023 season is winning 3rd place overall in the Texas District 20 Race Series.  I am deeply fortunate for this opportunity and appreciate all the help that has come with it which includes my family, friends, fellow riders, sponsors and especially our heavenly father. God Bless everyone and feel free to browse my MXSponsor profile.

Riding Goals

My dad always said that I must set achievable goals and build from there.  My first major goal is to ride safe and responsible for myself and other competitors.  I know how it feels to be hospitalized and do not wish that upon anyone.  Preparing myself mentally has been a challenge and will continue to ride with a goal and positive mindset.

Constant weekend practice and regional racing has allowed me to take my riding skills to the next level and help achieve my next goal of developing speed and endurance.  Every ride session or race, I expect 2% of some improvement from beginning to end.  Watching video's recorded by my mom helps me evaluate my ride expectations and achieved goals for that day.

My third goal is to qualify for the Amateur Nationals at Loretta's in the 250 C class and someday race there!  Coming from South Texas where motocross has been experiencing a decline with one place to ride has been a challenge these past 2 years.  With the help of my parents, we have been able to travel and ride tracks throughout Central/East Texas.  Travel is expensive but gives us good quality time with each other.

My final goal is to continue to promote and support motocross.  Motocross has developed within me a growing passion in working with beginners and competitors from basic to complex riding skills as we strive to achieve our 2% daily riding goals.  My dad and riding coaches have always told me to improve just 2% every ride session, what they never told me is that 2% is an ongoing achievable goal that never ends.
