I have been riding for 16 years (yes, I was that three year old with training wheels) and have loved it ever since. It's a bonding experience for me and my father. My sister joined in when I was seven or eight years old. We always race together and help each other out. Before every pass, my dad asks me the same question: "Why are we here?" and my answer is always, "to have fun." We have had this saying ever since I could remember. It's not always about the racing for me. I have a whole other family at these races.
Riding Goals
I'd love to be able to travel a little farther than Illinois and Indiana for races. It will help me gain experience on bigger hills and become an all around better rider. I'd also like to do a few hare scrambles if my dad can get our cr500 running because my bike (four stroke 525) isn't really meant for long periods of woods riding. It overheats easily.
