Personal History
Motocross has been the single most influential thing in my life. It has fostered new interests in other areas of my life that has led to a career development. I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science in 2010. I am currently employed at Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic as a certified medical assistant working for one of the top motocross orthopedic surgeons in the country, Dr. Chris Berg. I am in the process of applying to Physcian Assistant schools with plans to serve the motocross community in orthopedics when I am finished. Aside from my career and scholastic life, I enjoy road cycling and mountain biking. While a student at FSU, I was a member of the FSU Cycling Team where I competed and placed nationally.
Riding Goals
2014 was a big year for me. I applied and obtained my WMX pro license and raced my first professional WMX race at the Daytona International Speedway. It was my first race back in two years due to two major injuries that I had to recover from. I plan on attending at least two more WMX rounds including Muddy Creek and Gatorback at the Mini Olympics. I would love to have the time and money to travel to more races but because I work full time and fund all of my own racing expenses I am unable to do so. Other goals include qualifying for Loretta Lynns Amateur National in the Women's 14+ class and racing the entire Florida Gold Cup Series in both the Womens and Junior 25+ classes.
Competitive Highlights
My competitive highlights include qualifying for Loretta Lynn's in 2010, placing top 20 at the Mini Olympics for several consecutive years, and racing my first professional WMX race this year.
