Personal History
I grew up in two different worlds at the same time. Half the time in the city and the other half on a farm. I've learned a lot from both, but I've always found myself to be more of an outdoors person. I started riding at the age of 8 when my uncle bought my cousin and I a Honda 50. It wasn't long before we were both riding the woods. When we got in high school we started riding more. That's when I realized that there was nothing in the world that could make you feel as free and in control as riding. When I graduated, I had a few small jobs. Then I took a job in Mississippi as a Forman with a disaster relief company for hurricane Katrina. I enjoyed my work there but after two years I was missing home. I moved back to NC and took a job as an electrician's apprentice. Now I own a grading company and a rental home maintenance company. I had to take a few years off from riding while chasing the American dream but now I'm back and have my 18-year-old son joining me in racing and enjoy every bit of it. I have a great family that supports my racing and enjoys it as much as I do.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are to just get better at whatever I can and go as far as I can with it. I feel like you can never get to where you can't better something. I've been racing some motocross the last two years and I'm learning a whole new style. I want to pursue it as much as I can.
