Personal History
I started riding when I was about 8 years old on an old Suzuki 110. We rode casually on the weekends on a family farm with lots of friends and everyone would bring a dish to share a meal! I used to be so scared of hills and I loved having help from the boys (one of which I later married) to get me through the trails! The memories my husband and I have from that time are priceless. We are very active in our church and live spending time with both race family and church family on the weekends!
Riding Goals
I ride because there's no other sport I have done that pushes me as hard as racing does! The friends we have made are a lifetime treasure and our weekends wouldn't be the same without them. I race in the novice women class and my primary goal in riding and racing is to always be faster than my daughters! :)
Competitive Highlights
In 2014 I won the novice women class championship in the Virginia Cross Country Series! I haven't won a championship since then but we have had two kiddos and spent lots of time getting a nursing degree in between!
I placed 4th for the year in the 2023 Sprint Cross Country Series and had the most fun battling it out with my best friend Megan!
