Personal History
My name is Lane Wienhorst and I love riding motocross. I got my first bike when I was only 4 years old. My uncle Bobby got me started liking motocycles. He has raced for a long time, so now this is something we enjoy doing together. He has taught me alot about riding, encourages me and even gives me a hard time when I get a little crazy on my bike. I love going to all the local tracks and even the ones far away. We plan on going back to Steel City in September also.
Riding Goals
My main goal this year is to improve my lap times, be consistant, and improve my skills so I can become better each year. Each time I ride at Podium1 I want to become faster and start jumping more jumps and doubling the ones I can.
next year i plan on making it to Loretta's
Competitive Highlights
This year I started racing a few Harescrambles and it was really fun. After riding motocross and jumping alot of big jumps, it was was very different but also fun.
Also at one of the Podium races in Charlestown, IN I ended up 2nd place beating Chandler Stumbler. His dad owns the track and he is really fast. This was really exciting to me. I even flipped my bike on a jump but just got back on and finished! It was awesome!
