We bought the dirtbike used and we recently cleaned the air filter and repacked the silencer. When we bought it, it was VERY loud. My dad helped open it and the fiberglass looked like human hair and it was stuck to the pipe. It took over an hour for my dad to scrap the carbon and the old fiberglass off of the pipe. It is much quieter now and it runs way better.
Note from mom: Truth be told, we are new to the dirtbike scene. We are finding that this is an expensive sport--but Landon LOVES it, so we will do our best to support him. We are pretty proud that we were able to repack the silencer for a minimal cost. Thanks to YOUTUBE! We will continue learning about bikes to help support Landon without paying the high cost of repairs at the shop!
