Rider Updates

Apr 1 2019

This past weekend I competed at Budd's Creek in MAMA race #1.  There was lots of good competition.  On Saturday I raced the JR Mini (7-11).  My first Moto I placed 6th out of 19 riders.  Second moto, which i didn't have a great start, I placed 9th, giving me a 9th overall.  There were several 85 bikes and a lot of fast riders.  I need to put in some work on my starts.

Sunday I was eager to race 65 C (7-11) event because I knew I would have a good chance to place.  My first moto, another rider and I battled for 2 laps, I finally pulled into the lead.  On my third lap I took a little digger on a turn and the rider passed me.  I jumped back on my bike and charged forward.  I finally caught up and passed him and took first place.  Second moto I finally got a hole shot.  I was pumped!!  I maintained the lead the entire race, just focusing on staying on my bike.  It was a great feeling to see that checkered flag knowing I just got another first place.
