Personal History
Hi, I'm Landon Gottas from Prior Lake MN. I am 11years old and love motocross.
I got my first bike on my 4th birthday and have been hooked ever since. I am a well known kid in the district 23 area and will not disappoint. Some people at the track have noticed that I'm very humble but deadly on the race track.
My dad grew up racing and my grandpa owned a district 23 race track.
My family loves to camp and hang out at the track and watch and cheer me on.
I have worked my way to the top of every class that I have been in.
If I'm not riding or training with my dad I'm usually jumping couch cushions withy toy dirt bike.
Riding Goals
My goals this year are to run the Millville Super Series, focus more on training and technique, and get out and race with other districts and meet new people. I'm planning on giving loretta lynns a shot again this year but realize the stiff comp on 85s. I'm working with a mental coach who is helping me keep focus when trying to take my riding to the next level
Competitive Highlights
My goal in 2023 was to make the top ten in district 23. Not only did I achieve my goal, I exceeded it. I placed 2nd in the 7-9 class with 14 podiums and 9 over all wins (just 7 points short of the leader).
In the 7-11 class, I finished 4th overall with 11 podiums and 5 over all wins.
I won the Millville Super Series championship in the 7-11 class and placed 2nd in the 7-9 class.
I rode hard this season and am looking forward to another great year ahead. I feel very lucky to have all of the support from my family, friends and sponsors :)
In 2024 I ran the Millville super series in the 85 9-11 class and ended up second over all but missed the first two races recovering from an elbow injury. I ended the season on a high with a win in all my classes and want to continue that into the 2025 season on only 85s
