Personal History
I began racing on BMX bicycles in 2007 and continued to do so until March 2018 when I bought a 2014 crf250r, my first dirt bike. I went to a track for the first time about a month later and fell in the love with the sport that day. I spent the next few years going to prepped/open practice days at various tracks, all within a couple hours. I also did a couple of local races in the Beginner class to test the waters of racing. I decided racing was something I wanted to do and successfully committed to 10 local races in the Beginner class last season (2022).
Outside of riding dirt bikes, I love hanging out with my family, hunting, and playing guitar. I have a beautiful wife of going on 5 years and 3 amazing children. We are outside playing or riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers any chance we get. One of the biggest reasons I want to continue riding and racing is to show my kids that you're never too old to continue doing what you love. I am beyond grateful that I have such a supportive wife that encourages me to keep my dreams alive.
Riding Goals
For the 2023 riding season I have had a wonderful opportunity to purchase a new 2023 Honda CRF250R and have made a commitment to race the Thor Racing AMA Showdown Series at Lincoln Trail Motorsports. As part of this commitment I have decided to move from the Beginner class into the 30+ B/C class. My goals for this series are to...
- Improve as a rider overall
- Finish the series top 15 in points
- Finish top 10 in at least one race
I am excited for this riding season and look forward to continuously learning!
My long-term goals for racing are to eventually qualify for AMA National Amateur Championship in the 40+ or 50+ B/C classes.
