Personal History

Motocross has been a part of my life literally since I was born.  I grew up riding dirtbikes starting when I was 4 years old.  My dad was a cross country national champion which is where I found my love for the 2 wheeled machine.  I rode my entire life in the bush, racing a couple cross country races.  My true love for motocross came 2 years ago as my brother, who has been racing for 5 years, showed me the love for the adrenaline rush that racing motocross provides.  I raced my first full season last year, racing the Ladies B class in both the Alberta southern series and the provincial series ending up 2nd overall in both series.  This coming year I will be racing a YZ 250F competing in the Ladies A class in both the Alberta series again.  I also plan on racing the Ladies Nationals that take place in Western Canada.  My love for motocross has also taken over my goals and aspirations for a career.  I just graduated with a Degree in Kinesiology and am pursuing my dream career to train professional (and amateur) motocross racers in the gym.  I have currently accepted a position with Drew Roberton @ Evolved MX and am very excited for the challenge of developing future pro motocross racers.

Riding Goals

This upcoming season I am moving up to the Ladies A class where I hope to have a top 5 finish in both the provincial and southern Alberta series.  I also plan on attending the Western Canadian Amateur nationals where my goal is to make the top 8 after the 3 days of racing is complete.  My goal here is huge as womens motocross is developing so many talented womens riders.  I also plan on attending the womens professional nationals that are in Western Canada and racing to gain experience against the best riders in Canada.

Competitive Highlights

My competitive highlights have all occurred in this past racing year.  At the beginning of the year I was placing midpack in my final results at each race.  As the season progressed, I began pulling wholeshots and accomplishing doubles and even 100foot table tops to finish 1st or 2nd at almost every race.  One of my proudest moments was at the provincial race in Alix, Alberta where the rain limited the day to a one moto final race result.  The gate was split with the Ladies A riders, but with my unusual talent for mud riding, I won not only my moto for Ladies B, but I also beat all of the Ladies A riders!! I was ecstatic!!
