Personal History
Hello there, my name is Kylur Smith. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was five years old, and now I am 16. I am writing this letter to request your support for the upcoming 2023-2024 Motocross season. As a passionate dirt bike racer, I would be grateful for any help you can offer to assist my family in my racing journey. I am a diligent individual, both on and off the track, and firmly believe in the motto "Work Hard, Play Hard". I love the thrill of jumping big jumps and the feeling of landing them perfectly. The adrenaline rush that comes with the gate drops is indescribable. I take my riding very seriously, and my father has taught me how to do most of the maintenance on my bike and gear. My mother is also my number one supporter and attends most of my races, practices, and MX schools. We love our adventures in the motorhome heading to the track and always look forward to the next one.
Riding Goals
As a racer, my primary goal is to consistently place among the top five racers in every competition I attend. My ultimate ambition is to win the championship for an entire series. For the upcoming 2023-2024 season, my plan is to secure the top three positions in every race. To accomplish this, I intend to work on enhancing my cornering and starting techniques, as well as becoming more confident and aggressive while tackling the whoops. During the outdoor season, I will focus on building my strength to handle the braking bumps. I have already participated in other competitions, which have provided me with comprehensive conditioning for all types of tracks. I understand the importance of physical strength and maintaining momentum during long racing days or weekends. Moreover, I am planning to enroll in some training programs to improve my skills and stay ahead of the game. My ultimate goal is to participate in and compete in all possible races and attain the status of a first-class rider. Additionally, I have recently moved off the minibike and am now riding the 2023 YZ125. It has been a big adjustment for me, and I have been spending more time working out to be able to handle the bigger bike.
