Personal History
My name is Kyle Wendel I started riding at the age of 5 and racing at age 10. Everyday I find time to ride and practice. When im not riding or in the off season I go to the gym and keep my endurance level up and try to stay in shape. My favorite things to do when im not on my bike is hunt, fish, snowboard and ski in the winter, and take my jeep trailing. I can be a very aggressive rider I have learned alot and go out and have fun I like to compete but when I go in to a race doing it for fun and giving it my all I seem to better and accomplish more than looking at it as a race. But I defently take it serious I love riding and racing and just having fun while doing it. I usually just race loccaly and run the district 15 races. Some of my best memories starting out was Haspin Acres Harescramble Series I won that championship 2 years in a row in the 125-250f open class then finished 4th at the Stoney Lonesome Series which put me about 21st in the Indiana ranking at the end of the season. I moved up to a crf450 for a while and ran pro at haspin and 250B in the ama district 15 races. I just sold that bike and plan on riding a yz250 or bumping back down to a yz or kx 250f for this next season.
Riding Goals
My goal is to be the fast guy and just go in giving every race my all. I will be riding a differnt bike so I plan to really get used to it and see how I turn out this year. Every season I always make it a huge goal to never give up and when it gets me down use that to make me better and faster but other than that I just plan on going out to ride and have fun doing it.
Competitive Highlights
I would say my best memory was when I won the Haspin Championship 2 years in a row, 4th at Stoney Lonesome, won some local drag races, finished about 8th at the Stoney Lonesome Team Race, and when me and my cousin finished way ahead clinching the Haspin Acres Team Race all this happened in the same season except the 2 years in a row Haspin Series but i did cling that to during this season it was an incredible year for me and gave me alot of confidence and I starting to notice some good things I didnt think I could do.
