Personal History
Since geting my son his first dirtbike the beggining of this year (2023), we have become a family of riders. quicly moving from wathing him practice around the yard to traveling for the MidSouth Arenacross series. We now spend most of our free time training at local tracks or maintaining the now fleet of bikes (my 2023 ktm 450 SX-F & 2023 KTM 250 SX-F, my wifes 2023 KTM 250 SX-F & 2019 Huskey 350 FC, my sons 2023 KTM 65 SX, and my daughters 2023 KX 112) we have gone from trying to figure out a clutch to winning event in just about 8 months of ride time and have completly fallen in love with the sport as an entire family and have repalced almost all of our other hobbies with more seat time on the bikes. we are just starting out and we are a long way from where we want to be. but we are reaching our goals one hour at a time.
Riding Goals
I started riding to have a common hobby with my son who is 8. since he has brought me into the moto world we have taken it from a hobby to a passion training multiple times a week at local tracks. my over all goal is to be a competitive A/B rider in a regional arenacross series. my ultimate goal over the next 5 years is to be able to enter a national race with my son and wife and all walk away with podium finishes.
Competitive Highlights
I think my proudest moment riding thus far is beang able to take 1st place in my first race 6 months after getting my first bike. My son, My wife, And I have all taken atleast one podium finish in less than half a year of having our first bikes. I am current 3rd over all in the 450 begginer class in the MidSouth Arenacross series and 2nd Over all in the I4MX triple crown series. These are small accomplishments but they are just the begging and an eye opener to just how much hard work and seat time pay off in time. Never give up, Never surrender.
