Personal History

By day, I help clients navigate the world of finance as a dedicated financial advisor, but my true passion has always been riding two wheels. Whether it's tearing up the dirt on one of my four dirt bikes—one for each of my two kids—or racing in the Vet International Races of the Pacific Northwest, I’m always seeking new adventures. I raced in my 20s, and now in my 50s, I’m loving the thrill of competition more than ever. When I’m not on the dirt, I’m out riding mountain bikes, tackling single track with friends across multiple states.

Motocross isn’t just a hobby; it’s a lifestyle that fuels my drive both on and off the track.

Riding Goals

After the 2024 season wrapped up, my passion for Vet Motocross racing has been reignited. The camaraderie and friendships I've built over the past two years have driven me to aim for the next level of 50+ racing. From California to Montana and even up into Canada, I plan to hit every race on the circuit, hoping to match or surpass the success I had in my previous class. The journey ahead excites me, and I can't wait to see where this next chapter of racing takes me.

Competitive Highlights

Well, I took 1st place in most of my Novice 50+ races this year. This gives me an overall of 1st place in the Vet International series. I plan to work hard and hope to get up in the top of the pack as I graduate up to the Intermediate level. This gives me nerves and butterflies, but it seems that all who tackle the challenge have the same experience. There seems to be a certain bond of all who show up to these races and I look forward to next year.
