Riding Goals
I am very happy with how my first year of racing went and will continue to work hard and try my best for the coming year.
My goal this year is to keep learning something everytime I go out and ride.
I am going to be racing a KTM 65 this year and I'm hoping this bike will treat me as good as my KX did.
Competitive Highlights
My very first race in the expert class at Walton was a good one, I got the hole shot and was leading the race when half way around after and big jump I fell and 4 guys got around me. By the time I got my bike up and started they were pretty far ahead, I caught up with them and started passing to get back up in front and take the win. Afterwards people were taking about what an exciting race it was and they couldn't believe that I came back like that to win.
Another time I raced with a different club and the first moto went well then it started to pour rain and the track got super muddy, alot of kids didn't even come to the line for the second moto, and some left the race after a couple laps.Although it was tough and I fell a few times I got up and yelled over to my dad that I was going to finish the race and I did.I ended up coming in second behind an 85. After the race one of the clubs directors came up to me and said that I had alot of heart, that I never gave up even when things were tough. That I have the never quit attitude.
