Add another victory to the growing list for Kyle Humet. Kyle rode unchallenged to his 7th victory of the season this past Saturday night at Dade City Raceway, in Dade City, FL. "I really had my hands full this weekend. The track was very loose and rutted after 3 straight days of rain. I couldn't ask for a better outcome." Kyle will be back in action on Saturday October 13th, 2007 looking to add another vistory to his resume.

Another Saturday night, another race, and another victory. Kyle Humet rode to his 5th victory of the season this past Saturday night. "The track was a little rough for the first moto, but it was great for the second one. I could put it anywhere and do whatever I wanted to do with it. It was the best ride I've had all season!"

Despite the pouring rain and sloppy track conditions on Saturday night at Dade City, Kyle Humet wrapped up the Summer Series Championship in the 0-70cc Mini-Quad class with a second place overall finish. The track was in great condition when practice was run before racing began. About 30 minutes before race time the skies opened up and soaked everything for about 45 minutes. Moto 1 brought a slick track that was treacherous in some spots.
"The track was very sloppy and slippery. I got stuck a few times and was sucked into the deep muddy ruts. It was hard work keeping my Harley-Davidson of Crystal River/DNA Energy Drinks/M2R Helmets/O'Neal Racing Gear/Fuel Clothing/Langston Racing/Steel MX Optics/MotoXsupport.com/Ready Racing Filters/Osiris Shoes/Get Off Sportswear/Driven Racing Products/Vision Motocross Yamaha Raptor moving forward to finish in second place." The second round of motos would be canceled when the rains returned for good about an hour into the nightly program. "I was hoping I could win the second moto to get the first place overall, but finishing second secured the Summer Series Championship for me. I am really happy and proud to have won."

Saturday night at Dade City Motocross brought round 3 of the Summer Series. The track configuration had changed quite a bit from the last 2 rounds, making for a challenging evening. In moto 1 Kyle had a rough ride when on lap 3 he rolled his Harley-Davidson of Crystal River/DNA Energy Drinks/M2R Helmets/Fuel Clothing/Langston Racing/MotoXsupport.com sponsored Yamaha Raptor over in a rutted up corner. "I didn't want to get stuck in the loose stuff on the high side, so I went through the ruts. They were a bit too deep for my suspension which got me off balance and I rolled it." Despite the roll over, Humet was able to finish uncontested in the number 1 position. In moto number 2 Kyle rode a bit more conservatively to preserve the number 1 position, and a number 1 overall. "I didn't need to take any unnecessary chances. I just wanted to finish without any other mistakes and take first place." The number one overall moved Kyle into first place in the Summer Series points race with one week left.

With a strong 2-2, 2nd place overall finish in the second round of the four round Dade City Summer Series, Kyle Humet moved from 6th place in series points to 2nd place. "I was really happy with the second place overall. It would have been nice to finish 1st, but the second moved me from 6th to 2nd in the series points standings. "Thanks to my sponsor, Harley-Davidson of Crystal River for all of their support." Saturday August 18th will bring the 3rd round of the series at Dade City. I'm sure that Kyle will bring his "A" game, gunning for the 1st place overall and 1st place points position.

Saturday night at Dade City MX was a rough one for Kyle Humet. After a 5th place finish in the first moto, Kyle was pushing for a better 2nd moto run. While trying to pass for the 4th position on lap 3, Kyle got tangled up and rolled his Harley-Davidson of Crystal River sponsored Yamaha Raptor. Kyle quickly got himself back up and going to salvage out a 6th place finish. This left him with a 5-6, 6th place overall finish. "I was trying hard to pass for 4th spot but just got a little to close. I rode over the other guys wheel and rolled over. I guess it's just one of those things that happens. I'll be back riding hard again next week." Kyle is 6ht in championship points, as well as 6th in the Summer Series points battle.
