Personal History
My name is Kyle Hildinger, I am currently 18 years old and love to ride dirt bikes. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was a young kid, but recently started racing in the AMA a few years ago. I remember starting off on a little 70, but I quickly moved on to bigger bikes. At the moment, I am racing my kx250f as well as my new kx450f fuel injected. I race hillclimbs and verticross at Carnegie, and hope to start racing the track again at Club Moto, where I used to race when I was younger.
Dirt bikes have been a passion of mine ever since I hopped on one as a kid. I love to ride through the trails with friends for fun, and even practice my skills when I have a race coming up. Any chance I have to ride, I take. Currently, I live in Newark, California, and I ride at Hollister, Club Moto, and Carnegie. Every Sunday I usually go to Club Moto to practice riding around the amazing track there. Though, during the open Red Sticker season, you will mainly see me at Carnegie and Hollister where I love to camp out with my friends and girlfriend, and ride all weekend long.
Since I first landed on a dirt bike, my dad has been there to support me one hundred percent. I really thank him for the opportunities he has given me and the time and effort he has invested in my passion of riding. To this day, he accompanies me at all of my races and is there to both help and support me, and I would really like to thank him for everything.
In the future, I hope to continue racing and maybe one day, even race in Supercross with the pros. I really look up to all of the professional racers that race in the Supercross Events, and would love to race as a professional.
Riding Goals
For the upcoming year, I hope to move up to class B in the AMA. Also, since I just got a new kx450 I hope to start racing both my 250 and 450 in the Hillclimb and Verticross Challenges.
Competitive Highlights
I had a close win on one Verticross Challenge, myself and my opponent were almost tied all the way to the top, but at the very top I managed to push myself to a win. Check out the video on youtube. <www.youtube.com/watch?v=8399LIPrn_8>
