Personal History
My name is Kyle Caves, I am 30 years old and live in Cedar Lake, Indiana. I am currently riding in the Open C class, Vet Sport C, and Bomber class. I primarly racing in the Great Lakes MX series, but I do also race in the local arena cross events. Outside of racing motocross I am project planner for a chemical and oil refinery construction company based in Illinois. I work Mondays through Thursday as my regular schedule leaving Friday, Saturday and Sunday to practice, prepare or race motocross. I am also a Captain in the Indiana Army National Guard, which takes one weekend a month and two weeks during the summer of my time to where I cannot compete. I started riding at 12 years old as well as competing up until 2005 when I graduated High School. I had completed college with a Bachelor's degree as well as enlisting in the Indiana Army National Guard. It wasn't until late 2013 when I started riding again. My friend still rode motocross and he let me borrow his extra bike and shortly after that my first race back I won the 25+ class at the local arena cross. After that I purchased a 2009 Honda CRF450R and started preparing for the 2014 season. The 2015 season I podium in 4 different series and was a top point leader throughout most of the season. In the 2016 season I currently have many local sponsors and a full race team that's self supporting. We race every weekend and have a lot of exposure with our team at GLMX events as well as many national events. I am a featured rider on diffysmooth photography.com and currently am the team manager/owner/and racer. For being in an amateur series we still get lots of exposure on social media and local events. My traits as a person are that I am a very professional, respectful, and loyal person and if granted a sponsorship or support I will do my very best to represent my sponsors in a professional and respectful manner. I will also promote my sponsors name or business whenever possible and ensure that my team will do that same with the upmost respect.
