Personal History
12 year AMA member. Started racing the 250 c class worked my way through to the Vet A class in the NYOA series. I was tasked with being a trail boss for a promoter for a couple of years. After gaining this experience, and seeing the inner workings of race day and track building for 700-900 racers, I saw the growth in our series, and some safety issues, I felt compelled to volunteer as a full time sweep rider for the series. Starting in 2021 the NYOA series added myself and another longtime series member as Official NYOA sweepers. We are the eyes on the track for track safety, race integrity, and assist the scoring team. I attend every event and spend the entire day on the track sweeping from Pee Wee bikes through Adult Quads at the end of the day.
Riding Goals
My goals this year are to help improve our series’ safety and consistency. I am an avid racer and racing fan. I want to make sure our series is safe and successful with its incredible growth throughout the last couple of years.
I continue to race other series through the year in various classes, vet A, super open - Square deal riders winter series. A light and A heavy - upcoming D4 enduro series. 4 man sportsman in the Northeast 24 Hour Challenge.
Competitive Highlights
For the 2019 season I earned the #21 overall plate from the Vet B line in NYOA.
in 2020 I placed 5th in Vet A.
