Personal History
I started racing motocross when I was 9 years old. I raced all the way up until I was 14 in which time some family issues came up and I had to quit racing. I started back riding when I was 18 and could purchase my own bike. Having nearly 4 years off really put me behind the curve. Since I started riding again I’ve really been working hard to make up for the time lost racing locally and practicing as much as possible. Racing is something I love but at the same time I lost the one person that believed in my racing career when I was 14 years old and others in my family don’t take it seriously so I’ve been working hard on my own with criticism from other members of my family. However I have been fortunate enough in the past year to find support in friends and companies who choose to help me out the best they can. I honestly can say the improvement in this past year is great and i finally am ready to hit some big races in 2013. Recently I purchased a 2013 kx 250f to proceed my 2011 kx 250f and i must say it is a great improvement.
Riding Goals
My riding goals for the near future are to hit as many races as possible and really to focus on bigger races and not so local races. in January i start arenacross where I will compete in ten rounds of both the kicker arenacross series and the amsoil arenacross series, in states such as: Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Colorado, and new Mexico. After that my plans are to race the Oklahoma state championship series followed by the Ponca City Grand National and/or the new nma national in Norman ok. I would also like to qualify for Loretta’s and do the best I can there. the other big race I plan on doing would be the Branson national in oct. I know my results are going to be great this year because of all the hard work I’ve put in preparing for 2013 and all of the support from friends and the companies who have supported me the past few years and hopefully will support me in 2013..
Competitive Highlights
Finishing in the top ten a few years back at the Ponca City Grand National, then in 2010 finishing first in the Oklahoma state championship series in the class 250f intermediate And also a third in four stroke. in 2011 I finished 2nd in four stroke and 3rd in intermediate in the Oklahoma state championship series. In 2012 I’ve been doing a lot of local races and practicing a lot for 2013. Highlights in 2012 would be getting third in the kicker arenacross race in Guthrie Oklahoma. Also the Ponca City fall classic race I finished 2nd in 250f intermediate, 3rd in four stroke and first in 450f intermediate.
