Personal History
Kyan Started racing motocross late April 2013, on a KX65 aged 8, Kyan started the winter series racing season at the local BOPMCC track. Kyan did very well during his 1st few ever races.
Kyan was asked in September 2013 by Andrew Hardisty owner of Moto City Suzuki and the Manager of Team Bel-Ray Pro Rider Suzuki NZ to be 1 of 4 people chosen for a Moto City Bel-Ray Suzuki NZ Development Team. Kyan jumped at the chance, since becoming a team member Kyan has had on bike and off bike training with Andrew which has given Kyan huge confidence and taught him critical logistics to becoming the best rider he can be.
Kyan was a team member of the MC2 Racing Team - NZ Suzuki Team until recently as we have just bought Kyan a YZ125 to help him on his way to being the best, unfortunitly Suzuki no longer make a RM125.
Kyan also sees Mike Scaddan (Athlete mind coach) once every fortnight.
Kyan has the determination to be the best he can be,
Riding Goals
Kyan has big aspirations, his goal is to be number 1 in each of his classes that he advances too.
Ultimate racing goal is to race overseas.
Competitive Highlights
Kyan's biggest highlight would be being 4NZ and 3rd in the North Island.
