Personal History
My Name is Kutter Eliason, I am 25 years old. I started riding when I was 4 years old, me and my family started getting into desert racing in 2005 when I was 5, we raced steadily until 2010 and after that we just went to the fun races until 2019 we started hitting the full season and I decided to start trying to get competitive at the beginning of 2020. So I entered to run for points in the 2021 season in the Open Novice class and I had a rough start to the season with 7th and 8th places but I started to work on my riding style and started practicing 2 to 3 times a week on our ranch which we have a 37 mile technical desert course on it. That helped me exponentially! Then the last races of the season I got top 3s. I just got back from one of the biggest race I’ve ever done the 54th Baja 1000, I was on a 4 man team to cover the 1227 mile course this year I did 319 miles of it and by the end we got 2nd in the Pro Moto Limited class!
Riding Goals
My goals for 2025 is to get a top 3 in the Open Amateur class. I would like to hit a worcs race this year and a best in the desert race like Vegas to Reno. I would also like to hit the 1000! Then hopefully be competitive enough to move up to the expert class by 2026!
Competitive Highlights
Back in 2019 it had rained for a whole week before the race so this race was a mudder! During the race I was dropping down into this small valley that was a complete mud hole and there was bikes everywhere from wrecking and bikes overheating and I just thought to myself I just need to send it and I did made it across the mile long mud hole passing a lot of people and not going down.
Knolls 2021 I was in the open novice class which starts a minute behind the Amateurs and this race I got a super good start and I charged and ended up passing half of the amateur class!
