Personal History
I have been on 2 wheels since I was 3, moto is in my blood. I come from a family or riders/racers and would ride every day through my school years. I really began to progress once I moved up to a 150, that was when jumps became less frightening and built a significant amount of confidence. It has been great being able to get close with the owners of my local dealer, Action Motorsports, and many others in the sport. My goal in the future is to give back to the community and help many other people get to the next step. My biggest appreciation goes to my family and friends who are there to back me as i purse my dreams.
Riding Goals
My performance goals are to race the whole MDRA bike series along with a handful of District 6 and MAMA races. I have joined a coaching/training program for this winter to build a strong athletic base so I can be 100% ready and be all in for next 2023. Being it is my first competitive year racing I will be starting in C and open C to build the confidence to move up to B the following year. My goal is to be a top 10 guy right out of the gate and by the end of the season be a top 5 competitor and win a few races.
Competitive Highlights
As I mentioned above, 2023 will be my first competitive year racing. I did do the final MDRA race of 2022 and did do well for my first race ever but not exactly where I wanted to be. I overalled 12th in 250C but I had had a slip up and was dead last into the first corner and managed to work my way back to 12th in just 4 laps. I have many people I ride with regularly that I battle with who race consistently. I have not been in a position to race until the end of the 2022 season, so I will be attending the final MDRA race at Doublin Gap on Oct. 16th and hopefully some other local races held so I can determine where my strengths and weaknesses are and base my off-season training on that.
Almost every time I go to the track I have videos taken of me so I can review and work on correcting any mistakes I have made. Just from the beginning of 2022 til now I have made huge improvements in style which has increased my speed significantly. I owe a lot of credit to the people who have helped me get to where I'm at now and joining this off-season fitness program is going to skyrocket me into a much better rider next season and I am ready to do whatever it takes to progress each season.
