Personal History
Avery began racing at three years old and quickly fell in love with the sport. She broke out onto the “big” track on her 65cc and enjoyed the new challenges. As she quickly grew, she spent time on an 85cc until making the jump straight to her KX250F. Her sponsors have helped set the bike up to meet her needs and she has adapted very well. In her first race out on the 250, she brought home first place.
Avery suffered a slight setback in Oct. 2022 when she had a bad get-off and was taken by ambulance off the track. She suffered a severe concussion and sprained wrist. She came back after that offseason to her home track to reclaim her spot on the top!
In addition to racing, Avery also is a member of her school's softball team and a travel club team where she is the starting pitcher. She also commits year-round with a personal pitching and hitting coach, respectively.

Riding Goals
Avery loves motocross and has a passion for the sport. She loves being a woman in the sport and a role model for other young girls. She is a staple at our home track and well-known in the area. She pushes herself to be the best.
Avery looks forward to weight training and indoor prep this offseason so that she can develop more strength and speed. She hopes this will help her to limit the small mistakes that end up costing her the win and build upon her mental toughness.
Avery looks forward to indoor winter riding and preparing for the 2024 season. She has set high goals for herself. She wants to finish in the top two of every women's race and remain competitive in her new 250C class.

- To remain on the Schiets team
- To earn more sponsorships
- Race new tracks
- Finish in the top two in each Women’s race

- Qualify for Loretta Lynn’s

- Selected to TEAM Fly Racing USA; Maintained Schiets Sponsorship
- Chosen as an Ambassador/Mentor for The Right Direction Youth Development Program; A program where youth is mentored in action sports and facilitates progression and development as both athletes and young people.
