Personal History
I am a 9-year-old girl who loves riding. I went to one race last year with my trail bike and decided that MX racing was for me. I spend my summers riding on 1 of my 3 bikes, (Honda 110 CRF, Husqvarna TC50, and KTM 65SX) and I swim competitively on the off season. I have a dog that loves to be at the track with me, and she watches all of my races.
We do not have a home track, so we spend most of the summer travelling to races and tracks for practice.
Riding Goals
I started racing on my Honda 110 CRF. I was racing an MX track for the first time and knew this is what I wanted to do. My dad bought me Husqvarna TC50 to start racing. We do not have a local track to practice. Our nearest track is in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, and it is 4 hours from home. I was able to travel a lot this summer to big races Such as ECAN in Deschambeault Quebec and Can/Am at Area 51 New York. I focused this summer on training camps and attending as many races as possible for seat time. I trained at MX101 at San Del Lee MX near Ottawa Ontario, at Moto Camp in Parry Sound Ontario, at Runway Park in Sault Ste. Marie under Ryan Nolan, and Yanick Boucher. I look forward to more training next season and racing as many races as I can. I am starting fresh into the 65 Class next season.
Competitive Highlights
I was able to race many different races this year. Races such as ECAN, Can/Am at Area 51, and AMO racetracks. I traveled a lot this season, but did not have a lot of "series" results. I finished 2nd overall in my Trail Jr. class for the season, and 5th overall in 50cc 7/8 and 6th overall in 50 Open in the Nothern MX series in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. I look forward to next year to race my new KTM, and train to gain more experience. I am currently 1 of 1-3 girls in any race that I currently race.
