Personal History
My names Dayne Pogue, and Im currently enlisted in the USAF. I started ridding about 2 and a half years ago after I baught my first MX bike. Ridding at local tracks and talking with track owners and bike dealerships as well as ridders from all classes I have exstended my friendship on and off the track to include almost every aspect of the circut. I was born and rased int Pennsylvaina ridding back woods motocross tracks and trails. I love going home on leave and ridding at local track in West Virginia as well as PA. I also enjoy blitzing the Allegheny Mountains from time to time. But the exstent of my MX ridding has been in Arkansas. I aslo enjoy driving to Tulsa to take part in the Arenacross series. I would say Im more of a thrill ridder then a trophy hunter, I enjoy mastering tracks and teaching others how to ride, not saying I dont take part in at least 1 race everyweeekend but I get my thrills from exspanding the sport.
Im currently helping one local track owner build and maintain the only outdoor ArenaCross track around the state of Arkansas. We have invested our own time and money into the track and have a few local companies backing us for when we start holding races. We hope to get it up and running within the next month. Its already equipped with bleachers, parkinglot, and outdoor lighing, no small feet for a handfull of local ridders.
Riding Goals
Well I plan on upgrading my bike from a 250 sxf to a 300 and ridding in the 450 class to escape the teenage trophy hunters. Also opening my first Arenacross track, and placing in the top 10 for the Arkansas States Series for the 125 beginers class.
Competitive Highlights
Racing in Tulsa in 2007 and 2008 in front of a packed crowd of over 3500 people. Placing 3rd in the first race of the Arkansas State series.
