Personal History
I am a career Firefighter In Houston, TX assigned the Technical Rescue Team. I began riding after chasing my son around the track for a couple of years. I started racing in 2004, doing MX. I moved over to Hare Scramble racing in 2006, for the challenge of racing for longer periods and on different terrains. I have competed since but on a modified schedule due to supporting my son's racing along with working as the race series Starter, track marshal and Medic. My son has moved on to college and now is my time to start racing again.
Riding Goals
I have raced for several years finishing 2nd in the +40C class of the TORCS series, I have moved up to B class locally and have also graduated to the over 50 class. I have spent most of my time supporting my son's racing but since he has left for college, its my time. I plan on doing more National races including GNCC, the Off-road Cup 9 hour race along with doing the 24hr and extending to some other off road races in other regions.
Competitive Highlights
My best finish in motocross was a win in 2004 and a series over all finish of 3rd. Moving to off road I have progressively gotten better finishing 2nd in the +40 C class in TORCS in 2007, I spent most of the next few years riding many laps and a lot of hours helping my Son chase his dream as a racer along with Marshaling and working as a medic for the TORCS series. I am returning to racing this year and spent many days involved in the racing and riding in my area. I scout properties for the TORCS promoter along with laying out the course. I am very busy with racing and promoting my passion and the racing industry.
