Personal History

My name is Keyan Hansen, I’m 29 years old, and I recently moved to New Jersey for a new job in New York and to support my wife through her schooling. I have a business certificate from Harvard, and a Master’s Degree in architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. I’ve been riding since I was 8, but started racing in my late teens. I took a few years off to do a service mission in Argentina, and then had to leave motocross behind while I pursued my career.

I’m back now, and motivated more than ever. I’ve been dealing with depression and anxiety since I was young and have found that nothing helps me cope with that like training and racing motocross. I know I’m now a veteran, but I still have good years ahead of me and plan to push myself harder than I ever have. I’ve set a goal for myself to qualify for a Loretta Lynn’s race in the next couple years, so I’m on the grind recuperating from health issues and time away, ready to get back into the game!

I think I am a great representative because I’m older and mature enough to know what sponsorship is and what it means. I’m a natural born salesman and if I there’s a product I like, everyone I know will know about it. I represent on and off the track through conversations and social media representation. I love this sport, and will always do my best to give back to those who support me and make it possible.
